Surface coatings / individal colouring |

A great number of our customers for the standard plastic enclosures of the GH02 series requires varnish finishing.
The varnished parts distinguish themselves by the following features in comparison to most untreated plastic housings and offer a number of advantages:
- superior surface feel, pleasant to touch
- modified surface structure possible
- modified geometries possible, levelling of fitting parts by stopping/grinding
- superior resistance to mechanical influences
- superior resistance to chemical influences
- customised looks available, e.g. polychrome design
- adaptation to company colours, realisation of the customer’s corporate idendity
- easy combination with other finishing processes, e.g. printing, processing...
- quick and inexpensive, as all process steps can be realised in-house
- many colours in store
- only 1 order required (one-stop-shopping)
To give you an idea of the prices for all parts in all possible colours, we have taken the widely used colour definition according to the RAL colour card as a basis:
As a matter of course, we also realise colourings according to all other colour systems such as NCS, Pantone, HKS... and we carry out varnishing, powder-coating and printing also in commission processing.

The standard varnishs are UV-resistant/weather-proof only to a limited degree. Please ask for weather-proof varnishs separately, depending on the field of application.

SILVERlook-coatings: |
|
To be able to offer you a superior design variety, we have created SILVERlook.
This means that all housing series with the SILVERlook mark are optionally available with silver-varnished exterior surfaces. Thus you get great technical, metal-like optics and this widens the range of possible fields of application of the housings.

EMC coatings |
|
EMC coatings are first of all used with electronic devices (computers with their peripheral devices, medical and technical apparatuses, measuring and control technology etc.).
Untreated plastic housings offer only little or no protection against EMC (EMI electromagnetic interferenc) and ESD (ESE electrostatic discharge).
By applying (normally low resistance) conductive surface coatings, complete electromagnetic compatibility (EMC ) can be achieved. These screening layers are used mainly with electronic devices (computers with their peripheral devices, medical and technical apparatuses, measuring and control technology etc.)

ESD coatings |
|
ESD coatings for the use in electronics production, explosion-proof areas, clean-room technology, medical and lab technology. Untreated plastic housings offer only little or no protection against EMC (EMI electromagnetic interferenc) and ESD (ESE electrostatic discharge).
By applying (normally high resistance) conductive surfaces to substrates with which electrical charging has to be avoided for operating safety reasons (electrostatic discharge, spark formation), a considerable improvement can be achieved.
