Drainage and vent plug series EWLS degree of protection IP64:

The drainage and vent plug EWLS, degree of protection IP64 combines the advantages of the vent plug with the function of a drain plug EWS.
By means of the permanent pressure equalization between the enclosure and the control cabinet, heat accumulation is prevented and condensation of water is minimized.  Water that has entered the equipment as well as condensation water are drained off automatically via the plug.

Functional principle:

Temperature-related pressure differences between the interior of the enclosure (P1) and the ambient atmosphere (P2) are reliably equalized via the breathing gland. Thus the condensation of water inside the enclosure is reduced to a minimum.

Water that has entered the equipment is drained off via the drain plug.
